I well remember new Matchbox toy cars stacked up in the local newsagents-cum-toy shop, I've a few from the 70s but none has its box any more. It's interesting to note that toy cars from his era are increasing in value apparently, while those from earlier times are slipping back as the demographic for collectors changes over the years.
