When I post a post, I get the above message now.
However, my posts do post....so to speak.
Has Rick done summat pokey with the forum ?

Edit.....doesn't happen when posting a new thread..only when responding to existing threads...

Yes it does this from time to time, nothing I've broken so it must be something with the site's host.

I found this, which suggests it may be an email address that is subscribed to the thread, but is no longer reachable: http://www.claessen.com/phpbb_emailer_php.php

That would certainly agree with it not happening on new threads, as there will be no-one subscribed.

ETA - and other posts suggesting it could be something else entirely.

I think the error msg relates to when you make a post, it - incorrectly - shows as an unread post when you go back to the forum (which it shouldn't do, as you were the one to post it). I think.
