Hi all

Lots of time on your hands? Looking for a worthwhile project to pour £££££ into? Here's the answer:

What a deserving candidate for a full restoration.

Just imagine the amount of money required to get that back on the road!

Just what I was thinking Rootes, but firstly I was wondering where the hell you would find any spares.

I think like anything obscure, once you know "the right people" you'd find the oily bits. The rest would have to be made. I shudder to think how much re-trimming the interior would cost, I'm so glad that big Dodge was/is just a big empty space in the back.

I think that, in terms of sanity and expense, the expression "hold very tight please" comes to mind.

I suppose if costs to restore were too great she would make a very good donor vehicle?
We have friends who restore buses and generally they are restored by preservation groups rather than individuals, I would presume because of costs etc.
