Hi Everyone... recently joined this forum and need some advice.

I am looking for a few parts for a 1931 Morris Oxford 6 Saloon(reg FW1904). Can I get some estimate amounts I can expect to pay for :

1. Light switch assembly for the steering column
2. Full Wiring loom
3. Spare wheel attachment parts
4. Window Glass rubbers (Entire set)
5. Complete Headlamp assemblies (2)

I plan on driving from Orkney in Scotland to Milford Haven in SW Wales in a week or so to collect the car and if there is anywhere on the way that might have these parts I could divert and pick up on the way but any help or links to the right forums/clubs would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

For 2. Try Autosparks in Stapleford Nottingham. They make all types of wiring looms to order.
For 4. Try COH Baines in London. See website for rubber profiles, or alternatively Woodies trim. Both will post out samples to compare with what you have.
For the other items it may be Morris owners club could point you at sources, or the never ending search on eBay..

If you are driving down the M6 there are 2 suppliers in the Lake District you could try:

David Molyneux & Gideon Booth, both of whom have lots of Morris spares, used and new. I'll PM you their contact numbers.

Welcome to the forum, it'd be neat to see a thread about the Morris.

thanks, RJ
