The UK started losing market share in the mid to late 50's when we were the 2nd largest producer, only the USA produced more vehicles, to the turn on the century when the UK wasn't even in the top 10 Sad

Excellent presentation. I knew China was the #1 car producing country now but I did not know they make as much as #2, 3 and 4 together.

I remember reading many years ago that the USA at one point in the 50’s produced more cars than the rest of the world but together.
