Hi folks, I confess to not contributing to the forum for a few weeks … sorry.

Decades ago I owned a succession of Austin Sheerlines, but eventually marriage & kids intervened … the rest is history.
When I had these fine machines, ok rusty old things, I always hankered for the more stylish alloy bodied VDP A135 Princess & I've found a DS2 for sale from a dealer on ebay.
As any of us would do I started scanning the web for any forums or club details concerning these cars but have drawn a blank. A couple of club contacts turned out to be defunct & as for a forum … nothing.
I'm not a starry eyed wannabe & realise that these old luxobarges are almost extinct in the UK, but I have looked over two Sheerlines (not for sale) at classic car shows over the past two years, so they do exist.
Any car I go for must be in good useable condition as the cost of any major restoration would not be financially viable & anyway at my age the process could take too long for me to enjoy the result
