Hi
I have got a few shows that I am going to, if I am free, just thought I would post them here.
Weston park; April 8th/9th
Audlem Transport Festival
Lions day, Shrewsbury Quarry May 28th
Mid Shropshire Vintage Charity Rally, the Agricultural showground Shrewsbury
Welshpool, June 16th/17th, (not sure which day I am going)
Malpas
Tern Valley
I will be going to a few others I have forgotten about, if anyone knows of any good shows that I have missed that are either cheshire or shropshire by the main part, either steam, vintage, classic, autojumble anything interesting really let me know!
Cheers

A friend of mine told me recently about the Sandbach Transport Festival, on the 22 April this year. I gather it is in the town centre, but I'm not sure of the format. Here are some pics from last year to wet your appetite.

Also, later in the year, don't forget the Onslow Park Steam Fair, just outside of Shrewsbury, at the August Bank Holiday weekend. It is vast and well worth a visit for the working areas alone; where else can you see steam ploughing with a pair of Fowlers in the flesh. There seems to be a cut-off date of about 1970 for exhibits, and there are very few light commercials |

Hi
I have got to find out which weekends I am away with the restoration and race place at racing weekends, but want to go to audlem, and kelsall, and Cholmondeley, and onslow park, like rick missed that one last year, may try to make it to sandbach for a quick browse! I am also booking in for both days at weston. Got to go to malpas again as that is a decent show, and the ternvalley show!
Cheers

Hi
Tern valley vintage machinery trust, a certain person who once owned a dodge hearse used to organise it. It is near loggerheads, and is a great show, some classic, some vintage, some steam, some stationary engines, some tractors, loads of autojumble/tools for sale and lots more. Is great when dry, but if it is wet, it gets muddy very muddy! I got the mini stuck twice last year, but used some skills to unstuck my self. Also saw a motorhome trying to get up a hill, being rear wheel drive it was spinning all over the place, so was told to reverse up the hill, thus making it front wheel drive got it through!
A great show overall, and if you exibit, you get a gift to say thankyou, a nice touch!
Cheers
