I am looking for 13" whitewall tyres, i have been quoted £126 so far for 2.4 inch whitewall. Has anyone purchased any tyres lately? Any recomedations? Thanks.

PA, what are the exact sizes that you are looking for?

I have a supplier over here that should be well cheaper, not that that is much help to you, though it might be worth following up!

Incidentally, a couple of times you have mentioned this restoration pause...the answer is yes! Very Happy

Hi UJ, the tyres i have on are 175 SR 13. If i go for tyres (may just get trims for now Shocked ) i decided against cross ply.
Ah well its not just me that has had a quiet time during the restoration, at least i am on a roll now, seem to be on the homeward stretch.

Does anyone have experience of the rubberised whitewall tyre paint on sale at frosts amongst others?

I'm thinking of trying it out Shocked
