Delivery of the Dodge went smoothly today, it was dragged from the garage behind a L-R Discovery, out to the road where a LARGE recovery wagon waited for it. The journey is only 6 or 7 miles so didn't take long via the back lanes, and its now safely sat in their workshops. Will sort some piccies over the weekend and drop 'em on here! Being Friday 13th I did wonder if it'd all go to plan

Ok here are a few pics of yesterday's activities..
firstly, it had to be pulled out of the garage and out to a waiting low loader
then we went in convoy over to the resto workshop, 'somewhere in England'. Bit of a squeeze down some of the lanes but we got there ok
And at the farm, somehow the gloves that I'd left on the back step made it all the way..
Once off the back of the tilting trailer, it needed some shunting around with the other haulage guy's Disco to get it into the shiny new workshop
Finally for now, in its new (temporary) home..
A flashback to the early 50s, before its dark green painted faded and crumbled..

I hope the restorers be taking plenty of photo's of the rebuild stages to keep our inquisitive minds at bay? |

It`s good that you`ll be able to visit her once in a while. So much easier than to be just cut off all at once.
I LOVE the language by the way.....I`ve figured out what "fiddly bits" are, LOL!

Hi
Been working away on the Dodge today, We have got the engine and gearbox ready to be lifted out. All sorts of bits and pieces off, like the pedals, steering, manifold, carb, oil filter, oils (engine and gearbox) dropped and floor pannels etc, and anything else in the way of the engine/box coming out! Taken lots of photos too!
Cheers
