Greetings all
We´ve been touring the lanes of leafy Portugal, scouring the hidden corners for interesting old iron with some good results will upload piccies to the forum when we get back.
Examples of automotive excitement include an E83W pickup next to a main road looking a little sad, various collections of old cars for sale (Dauphine, BMW 700, Light 15s etc etc). Also spotted an old fighter jet in a scrappie, not sure I´d get that back in hand luggage though, hehe
cu soon

read an article about F-14 Tomcats being rudely dismantled... to keep the tasty bits from unfriendly hands so it seems. hard to believe that they're already at end-of-life for them; so expensive a machine should last for decades! so... bring back some good sherry or port? |

Hi
I, or I should say we, have sanded all of the back frame down, there was some thick white paint on there! It has preserved the metal quite well, and alot of the wood infills are good too! Sanded most of the cab, inside and out back to metal, same to the dash. I think it will shortly be ready for painting the back framework!
Cheers

Hi
I spent a day on it, and did most of the dash with it, but I was finding the coarse sand was bloking the pipe at the bottom, so I DA'd most of the other bits. I think if the sand was a bit finer, it would have been perfect, as it worked really well tostart with!
Cheers
