Think I have mentioned this one before, free food ( think!) if you turn up in a classic car.

Couple of the regulars run 100 year old cars, so have to make just about every part they need , useful guys to know Very Happy .

Buzzy I'm sure someone will know you lost contact!

Whens the best time to turn up? I think we clocked it by chance one Sunday morning a couple of years back, but I think we were a bit early and things hadn't got going by that time of morning

nice collection of 20s-50s motors turned up this evening, all jolly pleasant. Despite being very non-vintage in the A40 we went along in it and parked up near some much older, and a few newer, cars. Weather was fab too so all in all a pleasant evening!

PS buzzy I forgot my camera this time, doh!

Hi

The tube has stuck I think! Laughing

Riden it home from my garage at my grans, and it has developed a very wobly pedal, but it is ally and the spindle is steel, I am scared it will wear round causing it to turn, so may have to make some steel ones and weld them on! I have however been practicing riding with only one foot and it can be done, so should get there and back tomorow should it give way, just hope they both don't go, or I will be walking!

I also got my puncture repair kits, a few off them so have lots of glue (the guy in the shop must have thought I have hundreds of punctures!), but I had a brain wave, should the tyre snap, I could reglue it with the glue in the set as that is ment for rubber, and it should dry quite quickly, whilst I am at the horse shoe!

Just hope it is dry tomorow, else I may give the PF a miss as it is very slippy!

I may even have the tweed and flat cap on!

Cheers

A flat cap wow Pete and Deb will be imprested!!

A few years ago the company I work for had a weekend event, for the dinner event instead of the normal dinner jacket we had to come dressed as a team theme. We came as Northern!

Because the company I work for is very southern centric, I had the Manchester team dress up like this; for blokes, flat cap, choker, wooden whippet and a can of boddies, the girls all had pinnies ,rolling pins, and a coal scuttle! Belive it or not I got all the "props" apart from the wooden whippet from one shop in Manchester!!

The event was in London, it was really funny getting coal scuttles filled with cans of boddies thru airport security Laughing Laughing Laughing
