My wife owned a 1962 Triumph Herald 1200 fitted with the Triumph option of twin SU carbs. Does anyone know what the bhp of the engine would be. Also top speed and 0-60.

Thanks.

that'd be the 1147cc engine as fitted to the Spitfire 4 and Mk2, so (cam profiles excepted) the twin carb Spit's spec would be broadly similar to that of your modified Herald. I have a book on early Spits, will dig it out
