My challenge is to get this car finished in 6 years. One $ at a time.

like I think I said in my email to you, I have a factory manual, handbook and parts list for the Mayflower (I tripped over it the other evening), so if you need any specific info just ask Smile

Body and flooring, frame and all are in great shape. Paint is fading in the usual areas. (Edges) The wiring is shot. All the gauges are there, although I have already removed, cleaned and boxed them. The suspension is good. Tyres will need to be replaced for safety reasons. Chrome will need to be redone. The Engine Grill will need to be repaired and then rechromed. All the glass is good, but much of the weather stripping will need to be replaced. That will be the hard to find stuff. The interior, although vinyl, is good, except for the drivers seat where someone must have had a screwdriver in their pocket and sat down. The interior panels are good, although my plan is to cover them over. Eventually the seats and interior will be all leather and the hood liner, a soft to the touch cloth. The engine, flathead, side valve, 4 cylinder 1248 cc. boasting a mighty 10 hp and 34 bhp at full speed (65) is frozen solid right now. It has been soaking for a month. The air filter is a oil bath system. This system is reported to have been made for export only. The history is that it was imported to the USA via the well known Fergus Motors of New York. It has the original motor, and 3 speed on the column transmission. I believe I am the 3rd owner, but I still need to verify that. My plan is to restore it back to a very nice condition, with much detail. It will have many upgrades as in the interior and I am planning to put a good stereo in it, therefore I will need to make it a neg. ground system. It is currently a positive ground set up.

Well guys, the rest will come over the next 5-7 years. I will have more details on my website, once I am underway. Robert

Hi

Is the reason you want to do it in 6 years so it is 1 year quicker than the TR?

Cheers
