A friend is trying to identify the suspension setup from his Jensen recently bought. It's one of the early Jensen's before the 541. Any Jag people recognize it? Mk5 or 7 perhaps?
Cheers
Brian

Hi Brian,
It's definitely not Jag Mk V or MkVII. They used a separate stub axle that is held into the vertical part by a taper and a nut on the back. These Jags also used torsion bars rather than coils. I know it might seem unlikely but I don't think it comes from a British volume production car.
Sorry,
Peter |
