While it is difficult to be impressed by modern packaging; these nicely made tins were given to my grandson... they even contained very nice! cookies.

I've seen the tin van in a number of liveries. Two I think we bought (empty) from car boot sales, the others came fully loaded Wink

The bus in the background came loaded with some very tasty biscuits, albeit a little on the sweet side!

Has anyone seen other variations of these neat modern tins?

I haven't seen that one before Penman Smile

The pale blue car shown below, with W&G tin and John Deere lunchbox as backdrop, originally contained - apparently - a Fossil (?) wristwatch, and is dated underneath at 1996.

Just found out from the Memsahib that both were prizes in our motor group xmas raffle. On the bottom of the racer there's a label:

Its the same basic tin as this one we've already got Smile although I agree, the Farmers Wife one does look nice with the older style grille!

I like the look of the RAC patrol man and his machine, is that a British toy?

Like the Harley Davidson/Tiffanys style lamp. I used to work for AMF when they were attempting to wreck both the Harley and Aeromacchi reputation at the same time, but perhaps I'm being too unkind to them? Confused
