well what do i have here, its a 1380 Mk1 mini van. its power output as stated by the track day driver who owned the car before me said 140BHP. its got the normal engine upgrades of stright cut drop gears, limited slip diff,uprated cam, pistons crank 48 twin webber carb etc.....

its just come back from its respray, ive been working on this car for about 3 years now (im very busy person) the engine still needs setting up, and a complete rewire. apart from that its lloking good.

well I may try answering this, mayb if i m wrong Marksmini can put me right
the 13 inch look like compomotives whilst the 10 inch look like mambas
However I may add thats its been a long time since I visited my optician!! Laughing

BTW Marksmini di u have a look at my 2 minis?
I may try and make a post about them cause I do not know if i ever did!!!
however theres a short story in the Your stories section in tha main site.

yes bob i had a look, very nice and yes your right with the wheels too.

the mambos are off my blue mini which is in the banner above, just above the word PRESERVATION, and the other set of split rim wheels are off my van, the van is wearing the mambos as the split rims was being slip and resealed.

I learnt to drive on mum's tweaked Mini estate (smooth roof) 20 years ago, it was built in 1967, and later fitted with an engine from an Austin 1100 if memory serves, so it went quite well. I'll try and find a pic sometime and put it on here. I did briefly own a very rorty, non-roadworthy, Mini pickup but that went to a new home, it needed too much weldy weldy for me to get involved with, but the engine sounded fab Cool

u should get a nice period min rick mark 1 or 2 preferably mark 1 though!!

If I could find a nice solid mark 1 I'd be tempted to sell the blue one and get that instead but as the blue one is mostly my mum's I can't do it!!
that's why I changed its looks to those of a mark 1 mini!!
