There may be a couple of items I'll need from cassis Greeney I'll let you know thanks. Bob2 I'd need to buy one of the clips in order to have a pattern to make one really so I thought it easier to source repro items and bolt them on.
I think one of the nice things about 2cv's is that they were produced over such a long period of time, and all the parts are mostly interchangeable so it's not unusual to see hybrids of all descriptions. Where many folk paint up a Mk1 Ford Escort for example to make it look like a Mexico which then just appears 'fake', a 2cv can usually be painted or fitted with any interchangeable parts as that's what the owners did to keep them in repair! |
