Hello and thank you for letting me join the forums.
Over the years my father and I have restored various vintage commercials including, among others, a Dennis pax and an Albion chieftan.
We are just finishing a Bedford TK and here are a few Pictures of our on going projects.
The first is a 1960 Scammell highwayman
[
This is a showmen`s living van from the late 40`s or early 50`s of unknown make which will eventually go behind the Scammell. If anyone has any idea of the make I would be glad to hear from you.
And this one is a 1937 Fordson Model 61, E88W which is, at the moment, stripped to two chassis rails and soon to start being rebuilt.
Plenty there to keep us busy for a while anyway .

Welcome to the forum.
You definately have a lot to keep you busy. I for one, as well as a lot of others would like to read more about your projects.
Try posting the picture of the Showmans van in the caravan section. Someone there will recognise it, I'm sure. |

Thank you for the welcomes and advice, I will post some pics of the living van in the caravan section and see if anyone there recognises it.
That is our albion in the back of the picture we finished restoring it a couple of years ago and have rallied it localy a few times, here is a better picture.
I will post some more pics of the fordson as we go along with it.

Thanks again for all the welcomes.
Would anyone know if the E88W shared it`s windscreen with any other models? Or by any chance does anyone know where I might locate a surround? The one fitted is an opening one which was originaly chromed but unfortunately it is beyond repair.
I have quite a few more pictures of the truck "as found" if anyone would like to see them.
Should I have started a new post for this?
I`m kind of new to forums!

Hi
Definateley worth a thread! I would like to see the pics.
Not sure of the frame, is the one repairable, in that finding another rough one, or a simmilar frame with similar section profile, and welding in new pieces?
Cheers
