Yes, I do. I agree, wild boar is delicious. If you are interested, I have a really good recipe for it from friends who live in Tuscany. If you want I can dig it out later tonight and mail it over. It goes really well with some nice italian wine.

We have them wild again down on the Kent Sussex border. Complaints of hundreds of them but if you look, you can't find them Confused

The words 'do you shoot' are particularly upsetting to us in England. Its mostly only the bad guys have guns, and a few incompetent and (in some cases) trigger happy police. The honest man wanting to hunt has many hurdles to jump over before getting his licence Crying or Very sad

Thats the trouble with boar, they are a very shy. Best time to see them is early evening. They do a lot of damage though.

Greeney: As my friend in Tuscany would say, Chianti is only good for cooking....!

A couple of years ago while driving our old cars the the Black Forest, we stopped over at a secluded chateau at 'Le Desert' 50 KM from Strasbourg.
We were hot, tired, and it was getting late. They prepared a spread that included a large plate of wild boar pate' I really thought I'd died an gone to heaven. Very Happy
