Here's another mixed bag to get the imagination racing, found this week.

A common thing is to buy an old house and find the outbuilding or garage has a sitting tenant!

That Mercedes-Benz is beautiful, if ever there was a car to restore to all it's pastel blue glory that would be it.
I can imagine it re-finished with sumptuous cream interior leather and those white wall tyres - perfect!

as my license is essential i dont drink if im driving anywhere, had a friend in a sticky situation here after a acceident with a drunk driver when he to was over the limit, dont want to get into the same position and with a young family its really not worth it least if im sober, the drunken gits cant get away with it...

(if you been to france you'll understand exactly)

thanks for the good words about the site, its doing well, just keep finding old stuff.....have you seen the fire engines/trucks and farm machinery Rolling Eyes

and no im 33 so most of its older than me Razz

Well I'm 48 and remember many of the types when as a boy they were current and in use, always seems a shame to end up rusting away and uncared for...perhaps they a metaphor for the people that knew them also! Laughing

i thinks its the fact that people keep there cars because they do love them to much and dont want to see them end up as square boxes

totally agree i know of lots of cars just sitting under trees wasting away but have seen afew restored to since being here Very Happy
