Hi,

I'm in a situation, I am getting married in 2009 and have my heart set on a vintage car. originally I wanted a Austin as my gran had one and as i'm also getting married at the same church and in a vintage dress. I can't find one so will settle for any vintage car, and hoped someone on here would do the honers. all I need is for someone to act as a chauffer for the day in Cheshire, well morning.

Hope someone can help.

Hi

What Austin were you after?

A friend has a car they used to use for wedding hire, not sure if they still do it.

Cheers

Dave

I'd looked at most 20's, 30s and 40's models but mainly Austin 7's and Austin 6 saloons, I like loads but it has to be big enough for a wedding.

An Austin 7 may be a bit of a squeeze if you have a big flowing dress..? something like a 16 may be a little more commodious!

Oh no its more of a slim line dress. I'm only 5ft 2 so I'd look silly in a big dress.

Ideas welcome though.

it may be too modern but we have a Morris Minor Traveller 1000 - 1957 - that we hire out. Chauffeur hire is an option but it is also available self drive, which might give you more flexibility.
