It is a 1924 Kent registration number on some sort of Austin Seven.

yup looks like a Chummy, an early-ish one with the lamps up on the scuttle

reminds me of one I'd hoped to be able to buy a couple of years ago (sigh)

Rick. Not my family but someone within the genealogy forum to which I subscribe. The year and possible Kent location may help them identify who it is.
