Fired up the Morris 8 for the first time in .. oh dear 4 years.. . Started no problem (and did it have 4 year old unleaded in the tank!!) but unfortunately just as I remember the exhaust had that rather too much of a blue colour. Anyway did a compression test when she had warmed up, and all cylinders were between 105 and 110 psi. With a dab of oil in each cylinder this rose to about 130 psi. I didn't bother with a leak down test as it appears that the bores are worn, but was wondering what the correct PSI should be, the workshop manual quotes 6.7:1 compression ratio but not allot else...
Any Ideas
