With the advent of hydrogen powered transport in the near future, has there been any progress in the production of hho cells for older vehicles?
I know it was a big talking point a while ago but seems to have died a death. Are there big pointers for the future for the use of such "fuel savers"?Has anyone patented the idea and progressed to producing one?Peppib---How`s the minor getting on with fuel consumption.
Talking of fuel savings---i remember in the sixties,i fitted an exhaust twin pipe extractor fuel economizer to my minivan---it did`nt save on fuel cos
it sounded so good---you were using the gearbox to maximize the tone!!
Ah well----the price of progress.
Cheers--Ray the Rocker...

Hi Ray,
Because of my ill health my cars haven't seen that much action this year. I did take the Minor to deepest Shropshire (can't remember exactly where, another age thing Shocked ) but the return trip from Newcastle on Tyne cost me just £40 (picking up car parts for a friend btw - if it had been somewhere for me I probably would have remembered ..... or maybe not Sad ) The Merc still purrs away merrily - a 450 mile jaunt to and around Birmingham last weekend used 13 gallons of petrol - and about a pint of water so I still have more pennies in my pocket than I used to.

It does only work if you are light footed. The Merc was travelling at a steady 60 - 65 on the motorways. If you like sticking your foot down the unit will not make any difference whatsoever.

Bumping this thread as apparently the same technology has reappeared in Pakistan. I'm skeptical as ever but thought some of you might be interested... https://uk.screen.yahoo.com/pakistani-water-kit-fuel-vehicle-145502342.html?vp=1
