Does any one know were I can get a complete exhaust sytem made up.
The important one is for a1952 AC, my Black Bessy.

The other is a for a pre production S2 LWB Land Rover.

I have the remains of the old systems, both so full off holes and rust to make repair a waste of Time.

Hi

Someone like this found on the net:-

http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/

They should make you one, it is a bonus you have the old remains, should make it alot easier. Alot of places advertise to make exhausts for custom cars, but surely they could knock something decent up for you?

Cheers

Dave

Hi

CES made my 1939 Morris 8 exhaust up, they didn't need the old one (which was lucky because it was wrong) the new one took about 3 days and looked exactly the same as the original does in my parts book, they are a big outfit and will deliver nationwide or you can collect from one of their outlets.

Cheers Dave

I've used JP before now (they did the Dodge exhaust for me), and dad's had various systems made up there since the 1970s, latest being for his Wolseley 1500. I'm sure they have records for some of the older cars, might be worth asking the question

I don't know how they compare for price but I have found P. D. Gough make very good systems. http://www.pdgough.com/
I bought a stainless system 15 years ago (20k miles ago) from them and it's just as good as the day I fitted it.

I guess these figures are not very impressive given that the car is garaged and taken off the road when it's salty, but the bottom line is you'll never have to replace it in your (or my) lifetime.
