Virtually all oil seals are standard stock - take the old ones to a bearing supplier and they will match up.
If gaskets are NLA (have you tried the Owners Club?) make your own from gasket paper or even cartridge/writing paper depending on what was one.
Just cut roughly to shape place over casing and lightly tap round with a steel hammer and it will cut exactly to shape. use a ball-pien hammer for holes or buy hole punches or make some out of tubing
A lot of gearboxes use the paper sort. _________________ Rover P2

On the subject of seals, Aldi (of all places!!) are selling "O" ring kits in both metric and imperial sets, about 700 rings per kit for £6! I bought a set of both. |

Same place will sell bearing shaft sleeves - thin shim steel tubes in exact sizes to give new wearing surface for seal to run on. Not tried them though and they may be expensive. I had a lonk but cannot find it now _________________ Rover P2
