Not that I require it just yet but anyone know of a suitable asbestos sheet substitute for a fire wall? The Jensen had 1/8" - 3/16" sheets screwed to the baulkhead and I will need to find something to replace it in time.

If its the hard stuff any builders merchant will supply - there was also a softer version for buliding (boiler rooms/ and fire precautions) that looked very much like tey old asbrstos but when I tried to get some locally recently I could not get it but I did not try too hard to look.

If you Google "Asbestos substitute" loads comes up!

What about going to a plumbers merchant They sell woven matting that plumbers use to protect walls and furniture from heat and flame when soldering joints I think also I have seen it in welding material shops
This one was on ebay for £5
