A very interesting video with loads of great cars, the colour footage makes it seem much more real!

Thanks for posting! Smile

Note the roundabout 40 seconds in all the traffic on the roundabouts still has to give way to vehicles entering before the priority changed to the system now where we give way to the right

What a fantastic clip! That took me back to the days when I started driving! (1959) I think it's a lot safer now. Did you notice the way that pedestrians casually strolled through the slow moving trucks? Or the cyclist slowly weaving in the middle of the road between two lines of traffic moving in opposite directions? Happy days!

Did anyone spot a foreign car? Second viewing ! -

I think I've seen a Mercedes and a Messerschmitt and perhaps a Renault.

The same town today you would be lucky to spot three British built cars!

Foreign cars spotted were Mercedes Ponton, DKW Junior or Sonderklasse, Isetta, Citroen DS, Messerschmit and a Renault Dauphine.

How about the transporter load of Austin Metroppolitans? Or were they Nash's en route to Bristol Docks?

The sound of squealing brakes.
Just something you don't hear anymore.

Note also the old "French" roundabout priorities.
