Hi, the wheels are 17". I am not sure where you would find 15" wheels, sorry I can't help. I know that wheels like mine come up on ebay quite often.
Cheers, Bob.

I finally bit the bullet today, afetr putting it off for weeks I took all the brake cylinders off today, they were all seized requiring the use of a vice and a big hammer to free them up. After some careful cleaning and reassembly using copper ease and rubber lubricant and new rubber seal it looks as though I have 4 perfect wheel brake cylinders.
This is probaly due more to the quality of the original metal used than my skills, but the results are good.
Just need to clean up the backplates, refit and bleed now. I have put off the reling until the rest is sorted, just in case there is an accident. I don't want to waste money and time on reling, only to have a fluid leak !!

All this has been made possible as the result of a £10 halogen heater off ebay !!
Cheers
Bob

Good work on refurbishing the wheel cylinders, usually they seem to be corroded beyond repair. Something we don't have to worry about with the Seven, cable brakes mean nothing ever seizes up even though the car is taken off the road over the winter period.

I might have to look one of those out, although at the mo all spare time seems to be spent in a distant (heated) workshop, rather than chez nous and the frozen Motor House Smile

(PS epic progress on the Morris!)

I had a couple of hours to spare today, so I ventured into the garage and braved the cold.
I have now connected up the brake pipes etc after refurbishing the cylinders. Bleeding the system went without a hitch and the pedal pressure is excellent. I fitted the new s/s exhaust and put the refurbed wheels on to get rid of the axle stands.
I still need to get the shoes relined, which I will do as soon as I am happy that there are no brake fluid leaks or axle leaks.

The wheels have been blasted and powder coated, with new tube and tyres......at last it looks a bit like a car !!

Hi Nic,
the body and wings etc have all been repaired, but due to the cold and time it won't be painted until after Christmas. But I have plenty left to do to the chassis to get it ready for then.

I bought my last 6 volt-er from Burlen Fuel Systems, I think it's listed on their site catalogue.

Bob, a man of your intrepid nature doesn't need a "new" fuel pump, you just need a rebuild kit - diaphragm and contacts probably. It's just little nuts and bolts and careful following of instructions. All the bits are available from Burlen Services as is good advice by phone.
