ERF Lorry.

This handsome machine was built shortly after WW2 (1946 to be exact) and is powered by a hefty 8.4 litre diesel powerplant. DMW 939 was used (we're told) for coal and corn transportation throughout the late 1940s and probably well into the 50s.

ERF Books Whether for the Lorry as shown below, or any other type of ERF, it is worth having a look on Amazon for books, DVDs, Videos etc.

Classic lorry and van photos from the Gaydon truck show.

ERF Lorry photograph.
In addition to the ERF Lorry shown above, were many other classic and vintage lorries, both large and small. I've featured 85 of the photos I took at this particular show, held at the Gaydon motor museum in Warwickshire, in 2005. Whether you're a fan of all ERFs, or just Lorrys like the one shown here, I'd recommend a visit to this show.

If you can shed any more info on this Lorry picture, I'd be interested to add to the information I have on this particular ERF, thanks.

All the pics shown in this section were taken by myself, at Gaydon in 2005.

Further pics of classic & vintage lorries (and the occasional American truck!) can be seen on the main Gaydon show page.
