An Austin saloon photographed in a field back in the 50s
Some more pictures taken by Les in the early 1950s, this time of an Austin Seven saloon in a field. Thanks for sending them over!

Four pictures of an Austin Seven Ruby
This style of Austin Seven suggests this example was built quite late in the A7s life. I think its a Ruby, although I had thought the side windows
were a bit curvier on the Austin Ruby, but I'm no expert on these cars!
The car was positioned in several locations for these black and white photographs to be taken in the 1950s, and looks to be quite a standard
example of the marque, bar an optional rear view mirror bolted onto the front wing. The starting handle is seen tied up in each picture, a handy
thing to have if you wake up to a fresh battery in the morning. Is HV 3496 still around? its no longer on the DVLA website, but it could still be sat in a dusty garage somewhere, who knows.
