Fitted new brushes on my washing machine the other week and that had a ticking noise, was going to take the moter off and bed them in but it settled down after a few weeks once the brushes bedded them selves in. an old machanic I knew always used to "take the edge off" new brushes with a bit of fine glass paper when ever rebuilding dynamos _________________ If the world didn't suck we'd all fall off |
