Hi Sean, Nice car and colour. My Mk1 is currently away getting a new floor pan migged in, then it's paint and reassemble. They are an infectious little car, ours has a 1300 Sport engine. It was my older sisters, then her sons used it, then my son bought it when he was 16 and put it back on the road for 5yrs, but it's been stored now for 10yrs so I thought it was time to resurrect her ......again.
I think a 2" drop all round and Weller banded 13" steels with chrome dog dish hubcaps, then I'll think about the engine/box when she's back on the road. John. |

Yeah ive always loved mk1 and mk2 escorts.. My dad used to drive them years ago in his younger days. Ive bought it but its for both of us to use and improve it over the next coming months.
Sounds good, glad its coming back on the road, its very rare i see on the road... round my away anyway. Sticking with the same colour? It looks smart in the pic |

Sorting/Treating inside wheel arch
New quick shift fitted, as old wont would select reverse over 1st most of the time :l
all solid underneath, needs some work on sills etc. but just coating in wax/oil to project the bottom.
Wrapped up for now, due to water leak
