Cars, Planes & Locomotives.
A couple of weeks ago we headed into Manchester for a look around MOSI. There've been rumours bubbling away that it may be closed, although assurances have been made in recent months that it won't. Time will tell.
While the aircraft and cars hall feels a little tired, the museum as a whole is well worth a visit as there are some great exhibits.

Avro Avian, G-EBZM, is of particular interest to us as it was dad and his fellow aviation enthusiasts that rescued the remains of it in the early 1960s. Photos survive of the battered fuselage being collected, strapped to the roof of a tatty E83W Fordson van.

Hi
I believe that short length of trackbed passing the station building is the line of the original Manchester to Liverpool Railway.
As well as the items Rick showed there is also a Line Shaft workshop demonstration and all sorts of large pumps and generators. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
