Pictures below start with car back in November when it was in a shipping container. I have been busy and it is now up and running (four speed conversion is great!) but requires some fettling - front drivers side spring needs retempering, unless anyone has a spare for sale?

Front sidelights are sidelights and indicators combined (led)

Gidday Tim,

Let me be the first to write and congratulations on a job well done Very Happy

You have been very busy indeed. The car looks fantastic and should give you many years of pleasure.

Do you have any details on the combination led conversion to the Lucas sidelights?

Cheers

Thank you very much gentlemen, not quite original - but I am happy.

The sidelights were converted using a ba15d dual side/indicator bulb and socket from here.

http://www.dynamoregulatorconversions.com/combined-side-and-indicator-bulbs-shop.php

Very simple to do, I used a dremel to remove the old socket (single pin) and araldited (epoxy glue) the dual one on. Fit bulb, adjust white brightness by covering up front white led and job done. I did not need led flasher relays as the resistance from the rear conventional indicators is sufficient to operate the standard flasher.

Thanks very much for the information Tim Very Happy

The 'King of The Road' sidelights are great looking little units and with this performance enhancement will be great a modification on my Morrie. It will also comply with Australian rules. Also good to show other traffic which way you're heading...... Cool

Cheers
