Hi

Measured up the rear floor area of the Dodge this afternoon, I need to find some reclaimed timber to fit into the following size area:

Just under 7.5' wide
Just under 16' overall length
Board depth 1"
Board width 5.5" approx each

The boards, running fore and aft, need to be continual lengths too, and will be tongue & grooved.

I'll have a look around some reclaim yards, but thought I'd mention it here in case anyone has anything they don't need Smile

Rick

Rick, do you know what kind of wood is required for the floorboards? I know what my personal choice would be, but it might not be correct.

I have a contact in Derbyshire that can possibly help, but you'll have to collect.

Rick

Potters in Nantwich will sort out any wood you need, they will machine stuff if you need something special. It will be new wood, but if you want a "reclaimed or weatherd" look give me a shout I have had lots of practice in making new wood look old!

here is their website www.fortimber.demon.co.uk

Thanks will have a look, I'd like to find re-usable old wood ideally so that it doesn't look too out of place in the vehicle. Its a shame that the original wood didn't come out in usable condition, but thats gone now so I need something to match.

Buzzy, yup I'll try Tommo's next week

Rick, dont worry about new wood looking out of place, as UK says, its real easy to make it look old!
