I'm trying to replace the rotted door cards with some simply plywood cards. The original doorcard used plastic clips which won't really work. Ideally I would simply screw through the plywood and into the metal behind. As it's a 4x4, the simple plywood with pan headed screws would add to the jeep look.

Original clips were like these:

I could use something like these, but they won't be as secure as pan head screws:

Here's the door:

Some of the holes are square, and have one of these plastic inserts. Almost perfect! But I need inserts which would go into a round hole.

Any other ideas? Or where to buy such inserts that would go into round holes?

Just thinking sideways a bit, maybe something like these http://www.screwfix.com/p/rawlplug-self-drill-plasterboard-fixings-nylon-32mm-pack-of-100/97406
or these http://www.screwfix.com/p/hollow-wall-anchors-8-16mm-x-52mm-pack-of-10/12229

Usual caveat with Screwfix, don't assume they're the cheapest!

Well Bresco sell it all! What a find! I always dreaded that I won't find all those funky type of fasteners that my car needs!

I like the Screwfix solution as well.

Thanks all!!
