I learnt of this site a few hours ago, via BBC News.
The story behind it is interesting as is the actual content.
I haven't delved too deep into the advance search and display options as yet but the bit of time revealed some interesting photos, complete with information on the subject.
Exampe. Search for "Dodge Crew Bus" and there are photos of Rick's Dodge Race Car Hauler. Well known by many on here.
I found some images of where I used to work and some old photos of my home town that I hadn't seen elsewhere.

Thanks for this - I search my home town and loads of pics I had not seen before old and new came up - a lot had buses and trains though _________________ Rover P2

Thanks Peter. I've used the Internet Archive quite a lot for defunct websites and thde movie database but hadn't used this photo archive before. It does have some interesting stuff.
Being a motoring obsessive I thought I'd see what a search for "SS Jaguar" revealed...

Yes ! lots of Jaguars there, same colour too
The Advanced search is good and I found out it was best to go there. I entered SS Jaguar or used "SS Jaguar" and I stopped seeing spots before my eyes.
