Following our tribulations with the split liner and subsequent repairs - I've been running the Thames on just water to identify any leaks etc, there don't seem to be any, so before it gets cold I need to add some antifreeze/anti corrosion - Can anyone recommend one suitable for these engines or is just bog standard stuff off the shelf from a motor factors?
Also, My Thames didn't come with a water temperature sender, but new gauges have the facility - I tried ordering one online (evilbay), but seem to have chosen the wrong one - I was looking to put one in the threaded bolt hole near the inlet from the rad - Long shot I know, but can anyone tell me what this thread is by any chance? Ideally before I had the antifreeze! _________________ C'est seulement en faisant quelque chose que en devient quelqu'un |

Hi
The inlet (to the engine from the rad) is the bottom one, I would have thought that the temperature should ideally be read from near the top of the engine/rad. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
