Possibly not posted in the right section, maybe the mods can move it if not?
I am requiring a spare wheel for my trailer, it was made from an old B&B caravan chassis (not by me) and I would like to put it back into service after several years of storage. However I have never had a spare wheel for it and I imagine that it will be the same as a car from the sixties or seventies. I enclose a pic, the tyre size is 145x13, the PCD is 4 1/2 inches and the centre bore is 2 3/4 inches across. Any help will be appreciated, I was told that a Ford 100E wheel would fit but that was incorrect.
Hopefully the experts on here can I.D it for me!
Pete.

From what I remember these wheels were mostly made for caravan and trailer axles. My father had a heck of a job finding a spare wheel for his caravan back in the late 60s _________________ ROVER

47p2 is correct. The wheel was made by Dunlop for the caravan industry only.
You will find the wheel information stamped into the wheel in the well near the tyre valve. From memory it will be stamped LP891, 4 1/2J. You had best google caravan breakers and start ringing around. _________________ Keep Torqueing,

Thank you both for your replies. I did fear that it was a 'special' and at the moment I am contemplating changing the trailer for a newer galvanized model over Winter as it is now rather outdated with no auto-reverse facility, you have to put a clip across between the towing head and hitch.
I will have a look at breaker's anyway, it may sell better with a spare wheel!
Thank you once again.

Why not post a wanted advert in the caravan section here on the forum, I'm sure there will be someone who has one lying unused in a corner somewhere _________________ ROVER
