Hi all
went to move car today and idle was very lumpy then engine cut out.
starts again easily but again won't tick over
took car down the road and back and ran rough with a bit if smoke.
when home noticed oil spots on floor, so checked oil level.
when checking level, oil was very thin and smelt strongly of fuel.
Has anybody got an idea as to what is causing fuel to enter sump!
thanks

Hi Bob,
Perhaps a mechanical fuel pump with a leaky diaphragm ??
