Well done! I saw that, and thought that looks nice. I hope you enjoy your ownership of a quality old car. |

Looks to be a very fine vehicle.
How did you find it for sale? Bay or other internet sales? Club? Local? _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |

Nice! for some unknown reason Lanchesters and Daimers seem to be undervalued - or good value if you are buying. Does the Wilson box put folk off? |

Armstrong Siddeleys are the same - quality cars which tend to be worth less than many inferior cars. One can only surmise that potential buyers are scared of something about which they are ignorant... But it's their loss |

regrettably not a happy ending to the day the Lanchester performed faultlessly from Poole to Bridport pootling along quite nicely at 30-35mph any thing over that and the propshaft uj started to (
shake it needs replacing) at Bridport she decided to die on me I suspected fuel starvation but silly me no tools with me after the RAC failed to find me on second try they kindly sent out a recovery truck so I did the last 100 mile on the backend but home safe and sound and still chuffed to bits with my new car |

Im sure you will soon do some fettling and get things sorted, better to come home on the transporter safe and sound than forcing the journey and becoming disenchanted.

That looks lovely! Sorry to hear about the problems you've had with it, but I'm sure you'll get them sorted out! _________________ Richard Hughes |

just an update on the Lanchester a new fuel line cured the strarvation problems and new tyres all round sorted out the propshaft wobble now it cruses at 40-45 mph quite nicely unfortunately on her first proper outing after coming home from the garage she threw her fan blade now she is back in the garage awaiting a new fan blade and pulley to be fitted as soon as she is home again I wil post some more pics |

There's always something eh - did the fan take out anything else nearby? I had the same happen to the Dodge late last year.
