Is the world going mad or am I so behind the times?

[]

1972 Ford Escort Van Mark One ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yours for £19,995

Currently for sale on Ebay with a 1600cc engine it was never fitted with.

"Ford Escort very rare Mk 1 Van Stunning Condition
1972, 52000 miles white"

I sold my 1968 "F" registered 1100cc Ford Escort Mark One Van in 1988 for £120 and that had only done 56000 miles. Rolling Eyes [/img]

I turned one down in circa 1985, it had been owned by a local hotel from new, only done light duties and was perfect...apart from the fact they wanted £150 for it !!Confused

Unfortunately prices are going very silly for most pre 80s fords nowadays.
Over here in Malta lots of old fords have gone, sold to the uk because of the crazy prices they are fetching over there!!
Insane, minis too are getting the same lately, not as bonkers as fords though!
