According to Howmanyleft.com there are 339 Austin A60s still licensed but that is a general figure as the estates are not shown as a separate model.
Even at 10% of the total that leaves less than 40 and I suspect the actual figure is less meaning that this A60 estate is rare. The same must apply to Morris Oxfords as well.
I don't remember seeing many A55/A60/ Morris Oxford estates even in the 1960s and 1970s.
The last one I saw was ten or twelve years ago which belonged to a gentleman from Eire. His was a light blue example which was registered
69 G 1. I presume he had taken the option of surrendering the original registration number or possibly bought a mainland UK or Ulster car and was allocated 69 G 1. _________________ Starting Handle Expert
