|
|
The fuel tank of the vehicle I'm restoring has a "Pie Crust" fuel cap, this is NOT the push and turn type but extrnaly threaded 2 1/16" diam' 16 tpi Right hand Whitworth.
I've tried all the places I can think of, anyone out there got one they would like to dispose of?
Cheers, Tony. |

Apologies but please confirm; it is externally threaded? It screws in and not on the neck? And the thread measurement across is 2 1/16 not 2.0? |

It's called a 'Pie Crust' because there are scallops around trhe edge and it is 2 and 1/16 diameter, that's two inches and one sixteenth across the threads. (not the whole cap) it is externally threaded so the fuel orifice is threaded internally.

This fuel cap was fitted to B.S.A. 'Slopers' between 19:30 - 19:50's.

I assume you have tried the BSA owners club?
Trials central is a good source if BSA info too helped me with out BSA project _________________ It will come in handy even if you never use it. |
