Hi all,
With Austin 7s being so popular, I suspect that some of the other, small, pre-war Austins tend to get a little overlooked. This 10/4 Lichfield looks like a beauty, with a thorough restoration having been undertaken on it a few years ago. The correct registration is still in place which is a bonus.
Visually the only way it could be improved, I think, is with the re-trimmed interior gaining a little more patina and losing its "freshness", but this is a minor quibble really. I also think the steering wheel spokes and boss should be finished in black.

That's rather nice, although it's a shame the sunroof has been sealed off; as for the 12 volt conversion, the 1935 Ten was 12 volts! _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

Hi
I know it was 55-60 yrs ago but I think our '34 Ten/Four had 2 x 6 volt batteries in series; or could that have been the '36 Vauxhall Light 14? _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

I believe the 1932-33 Tens were on a 6 volt system, but by 1935 they were definitely on 12 volts; probably the change was in 1934, so it might depend on whether it was an early or late car. _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline
