Hi all,

Pickup versions of Standard's Vanguard Phase 1/2 have graced this corner of the forum before, as has this actual vehicle. This one's been imported from Tasmania.

It doesn't look bad at all, although I'd be quickly reaching for a tin of grey paint I think if it were mine, and I'm not sure I'd be leaving the exterior visor or plastic indicators on it either tbh. Quite a rare old machine.

I always think its a bit of a shame seeing vehicles like this being imported, I know its good to preserve but I just see someone trying to make money.

What a wonderful work horse. I am not a fan of the Vanguard saloon, cannot live with the back end styling of the various models. But I love this version!
Nice to see a TR engine in it.
