Hi all,
Saturday was spent loitering around Oulton Park for the MG Car Club's meeting. Various one-marque MG races took place, as did invited entries of Porsches, and sportscars of various makes from the late 50s/early 60s (TVR, Lotus, Triumph, Elva, Gilbern etc). All in all an entertaining day, boosted by glorious weather (which had vanished to be replaced by rain, cloud and a cool breeze by the following morning).
Below is a selection of photos, comprising both competition cars (yes, lots of MGBs) and various interesting road cars spotted around the venue.

Lovely lot of photos.
It reminds me again how brutal a racing TR4 looks, compared with the various MG's.
What is the cute little convertible in the sort of metallic beige colour?
I hope the 2nd photo of no.86 is the driver tending his brakes |
