I need to replace the de-greasing fluid in my parts washer; I need 50L of fluid.
I think the current concoction is a combination of Jizer topped up with heating oil..
What fluids have members found that work well and don't need frequent changing.

I would suggest Paraffin (or is it Parrafin)?
Cheers, Tony. _________________ It may work in practice, but not necessarily in theory! |

I bought mine off of eBay, it is just a generic one I believe, it does what it says on the tin (well plastic drum actually) and I seem to recall about £20 for 25ltr. delivered _________________ Paul

We used paraffin in my Dad's garage in the 50s and I still use it. Cheap and cheerful, and damned efficient. |

I have used Morris Oils "Lydian" degreaser. It's powerful stuff but does stink a bit and can be washed off with water. I also used it NEST in a parts washer but that was probably not a good idea as it melted the plastic housed electric pump!
Sprayed on with a pump up garden sprayer bottle, left to soak for a bit, it seems to pretty well degrease anything.
