I have always wondered why Jaguar took the trouble to add a bit of bodywork between the doors. This adds an extra gap which means extra alignment trouble. Could it be as simple as, being in the design to production phase, already having made the door dies and then realising a longer interior was needed?
Even so, would it not have been better to invest in newer, longer doors? They were making them like this for 15 years! _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |
